CyberPower has expanded its Online S Series with two new uninterruptible power supply (UPS) models aimed at organisations running critical IT and connected equipment, adding the OLS2K2ERT2UH and OLS3KERT2UH to its line-up.
The company said the new units are designed for “demanding environments” and combine online double-conversion technology, a power factor of 1, a tiltable colour LCD and an integrated maintenance bypass.
The release positions the new UPS models as relevant to businesses facing higher operational reliance on always-on digital systems, where unexpected outages and power quality issues can lead to downtime, data loss and equipment stress. CyberPower said the UPS units are intended to protect servers, storage, networking hardware and security systems from power disturbances.

CyberPower cited a “High Output Power Factor of 1” as a key feature, saying it allows the UPS to deliver more usable power and support higher total watt loads, which it said could reduce the need to overspecify infrastructure.
The company also highlighted online double-conversion operation, which it said continuously regulates incoming power and provides “zero-transfer time” to help protect against blackouts, brownouts and surges.
To improve day-to-day operations, CyberPower said the new models include a tiltable colour LCD intended to make monitoring and configuration easier when the unit is installed low in a rack or equipment room.
CyberPower also pointed to an integrated maintenance bypass, which it said allows operators to switch to utility power in bypass mode so maintenance can be performed without shutting down connected equipment.
The company said the models support remote monitoring and management, with compatible models featuring a built-in Remote Cloud Card that connects to PowerPanel Cloud for real-time information and remote management via a web portal or mobile app.
For organisations planning for growth or resilience, CyberPower said the Online S platform supports parallel expansion to increase capacity and achieve N+X redundancy.
Additional features listed include relay-type dry contacts for UPS status monitoring, extended battery module auto-detection, an Emergency Power Off dry contact port and PowerPanel Management Software for power management and graceful shutdown.
