Teledyne FLIR is set to demonstrate an integrated approach to physical security at the Security Exhibition & Conference 2026, as organisations responsible for critical infrastructure and other high-value sites shift from standalone technologies to multi-layered security deployments.
The company said it will show how combining thermal and visible imaging, radar, AI-enabled analytics and security software can be used to improve situational awareness and support faster decision-making in complex environments.
At Booth A50, Teledyne FLIR plans to present what it describes as a “Multi-Layered Security Solutions” approach, aimed at providing a unified, real-time operational view by linking complementary sensing technologies. The company said the approach is intended to help security teams detect, verify and assess threats more accurately while maintaining continuous perimeter awareness.
Early fire detection is also part of the planned demonstrations. Teledyne FLIR said its thermal imaging-based early fire detection technologies are designed to identify abnormal heat conditions before flames become visible, giving operators more time to investigate hazards and reduce disruption to operations.
The company will also demonstrate its Flir Nexus software platform, which it said is designed to connect thermal cameras, visible cameras and radar into a single interface by correlating data from multiple sensors to support threat detection and tracking.
Site design and deployment planning will be another focus, with Teledyne FLIR offering attendees a look at the Flir Raven site planning tool. The company said the tool enables consultants, integrators and end users to model sensor placement and optimise coverage before installation.
Teledyne FLIR also highlighted data centres as a growing use case for integrated physical security, citing the need for continuous perimeter monitoring and early identification of thermal anomalies that could affect operations.
