D-Link ANZ has expanded its industrial Ethernet switch range, adding four models aimed at customers deploying networks in harsh environments across Australia and New Zealand.
The company said the lineup targets use cases including manufacturing, transport, outdoor surveillance and remote utilities, where equipment may face temperature extremes, vibration, electrical noise and power surges.
The new models are the DIS-310G-24X Layer 3 managed switch, the DIS-210G-12 and DIS-210G-12UP smart-managed switches, and the DIS-100E-05 unmanaged entry-level switch.
D-Link said the range includes IP40-rated metal housings, fan-less designs, 6kV surge protection on Ethernet ports and operating temperature ratings of –40°C to +75°C.
The DIS-310G-24X is positioned as the flagship for larger industrial networks. D-Link said it includes 16 Gigabit copper ports, four Gigabit SFP fibre uplinks and four 10G SFP+ ports in a 100 x 140 x 170 mm chassis, and supports ERPS ring redundancy for sub-50ms failover.
The company said the DIS-210G-12 provides eight Gigabit copper ports and four SFP uplinks, with web-based management and ERPS ring protection for mid-sized deployments such as city surveillance, warehouse automation and building management systems.
The DIS-210G-12UP adds power-over-Ethernet, with D-Link stating it offers six PoE+ ports (30W) and two PoE++ ports (up to 60W per port) for devices such as PTZ cameras, access control and IP intercoms.
The DIS-100E-05 is a five-port unmanaged Fast Ethernet switch. D-Link said it supports DIN-rail mounting, dual-input 12–55V DC power for redundancy, and includes Energy-Efficient Ethernet.
Industrial switching products can be a foundational component of operational technology networks, and are often deployed in sites where maintenance access is limited and outages can disrupt operations. D-Link’s announcement comes as more organisations extend connectivity to edge and OT environments for surveillance, automation and telemetry.
D-Link said the products are available now in Australia and New Zealand via its local websites and authorised business resellers. Recommended retail prices listed were: DIS-310G-24X at AUD$2799.95 and NZ$3499.99; DIS-210G-12 at AUD$899.95 and NZ$1099.99; DIS-210G-12UP at AUD$1799.95 and NZ$2199.99; and DIS-100E-05 at AUD$149.95 and NZ$179.99.
