Apple Wallet will now support employee badges managed on the new Gallagher Command Centre v9.10. platform.
Employee badges in Apple Wallet can now be fully integrated with Gallagher Command Centre, making it easy for clients to issue and manage access credentials for their employees with in-app provisioning via Gallagher’s Mobile Connect app.
Once an employee adds their badge to Apple Wallet, they can hold their iPhone or Apple Watch near an NFC-enabled reader to unlock office doors. This eliminates the need to open an app or present a traditional plastic access card. Employees who need to charge their phone can still use their device to access their office or amenity areas with Power Reserve.

Employees can add their employee badge to Apple Wallet after an initial set-up and provisioning through Gallagher’s Mobile Connect app. Once added, the badge will give them access to their office building, office space and shared amenity spaces. Unlike physical cards, there is no waiting time for building credentials and access for new employees.
Badges are stored on the employee’s device, which means Apple doesn’t see the places employees access. If an employee’s iPhone or Apple Watch is misplaced, the owner can promptly use the Find My app to lock the device and help locate it.
Employee badges in Apple Wallet are available for approved Gallagher customers in the United States, with global availability to be announced soon. Employee badge in Apple Wallet has also been made available for the 700 staff at Gallagher headquarters in Hamilton, New Zealand, and will be rolled out across Gallagher’s global offices.
