Integrated Control Technology (ICT) has announced the promotion of two senior leaders as part of a broader strategy to strengthen customer experience while supporting scalable global growth.
Laura Berga (pictured) has been promoted to Vice President of Customer Operations, formalising a role she has effectively been shaping for several years as ICT continues to invest in operational excellence and a consistent, partner-centric customer experience. Berga brings more than 11 years of experience at ICT and across the wider security industry, with prior experience spanning SaaS and FinTech.
During her tenure, Berga has held progressively senior roles including Customer Service Manager, Administration and Communication Manager, and Chief Customer Officer. Across these positions, she has played a key role in customer-facing operations, systems implementation, and process development, helping to build the operational backbone required to support ICT’s global partner network.
In her new role, Berga will lead the systems, processes, and digital infrastructure that underpin ICT’s customer experience. The Customer Operations Group will focus on automation, analytics, and operational consistency, with the aim of reducing manual effort, improving visibility across regions, and enabling faster, more confident decision-making. This work will support ICT’s high-touch customer model and long-term scalability.
ICT Chief Executive Officer Andy Bane said Berga has consistently demonstrated an ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex operational environments, adding that her leadership has been instrumental in modernising how ICT supports partners and internal teams.
Berga said the appointment provides an opportunity to challenge long-standing processes, simplify daily operations for partners and staff, streamline ICT’s digital landscape, and use data more intentionally to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Alongside Berga’s promotion, ICT has also appointed Damon Standish as Vice President of Customer Success, reinforcing the company’s focus on delivering stronger customer outcomes through deeper collaboration and proactive engagement.
Standish brings nearly 15 years of leadership experience at ICT and close to three decades in the global security industry. He has held senior leadership roles across multiple regions, including APAC Sales and Support Manager, General Manager of New Zealand, General Manager of the United States, President of ICT USA, and Director of Strategic OEM Partnerships. Most recently, he played a key role in strengthening ICT’s strategic OEM relationships through a customer-first approach combined with deep technical and industry expertise.
As Vice President of Customer Success, Standish will lead ICT’s global Customer Success Group, encompassing Global Technical Support, Global Training Delivery, Global Technical Sales Support, and the Global Customer Success team. These teams form the frontline of ICT’s customer engagement, supporting strategic accounts, high-potential partners, at-risk customers, and organisations undertaking complex deployments or new product launches.
Andy Bane said Standish’s ability to bridge strategy, technology, and customer understanding positions him well to lead the next phase of ICT’s Customer Success evolution.
Standish said customer success should be viewed as a mindset rather than a department, emphasising the importance of understanding customer needs, breaking down silos, and working as one global team to deliver better outcomes for customers and partners.
Berga and Standish will work closely together to ensure strong alignment between operational excellence and customer engagement, delivering a seamless and consistent experience for ICT partners and customers at every stage of the journey.
