IDIS has expanded its wide-area surveillance lineup with the launch of two new AI-powered auto-tracking PTZ cameras, giving users and systems integrators enhanced options for intelligent perimeter and large-site monitoring.
The newly released NDAA-compliant models — the 4MP AI PTZ (LightMaster) DC-S6481HRA and the Mini 5MP AI PTZ DC-S4561WRA — join the company’s recently introduced Edge AI Plus 8MP and 6MP cameras. Both PTZs are powered by IDIS Deep Learning Analytics (IDLA) and the in-house IDIS Deep Learning Engine, providing real-time object detection, classification, and AI-driven auto-tracking.
These AI capabilities reduce false alarms, speed up investigations, streamline evidence export, and support more proactive threat detection, making them well suited for busy control rooms and operators managing complex environments.
The 4MP AI PTZ LightMaster model is built for tough outdoor conditions, offering:
-
NIR night vision up to 400 metres
-
IK10 vandal resistance
-
IP66 environmental protection against water, dust, corrosion, and ice
Its durability and long-range visibility make it suitable for industrial sites, commercial perimeters, parking areas, and municipal surveillance.
The Mini 5MP AI PTZ delivers high-performance pan-tilt-zoom and AI analytics in a smaller form factor, with:
-
NIR range up to 100 metres
-
A compact design for installation in tight or discreet locations
-
Optimised performance in challenging lighting conditions
The new models expand IDIS’s intelligent camera portfolio and offer flexible deployment options for organisations looking to enhance real-time situational awareness with advanced AI-powered tracking.
