Home security company Arlo Technologies has partnered with RapidSOS, an AI-powered intelligent safety platform used by first responder agencies, to improve emergency responses.
This partnership ensures RapidSOS safety agents receive critical details from Arlo users and enables real-time visual confirmation of incidents through video verification, reducing false alarms and accelerating emergency response when every second matters.
Video verification allows safety agents to assess live footage from designated Arlo cameras before escalating to 911 to dispatch police, fire, or medical responders. Combined with user details, this innovation provides first responders with accurate, actionable information, leading to more effective assistance in emergencies.

Video verification enables safety agents to assess live feeds from specified cameras, confirming break-ins, fires, or medical incidents before escalating to 911. This reduces false alarms, preventing unnecessary police responses while ensuring more accurate emergency assistance when it’s needed most.
“We are extremely excited to partner with RapidSOS to provide advanced emergency response capabilities such as video verification, providing first responders with the information they need to act fast and save lives,” said Arlo CEO Matthew McRae.
With the integration of RapidSOS in Arlo Secure Premium’s monitoring and emergency features, users get a better and smarter emergency response when it matters most by protecting life and property with real-time intelligence.
“When 911 receives an emergency call, accurate information is critical,” said RapidSOS CEO Michael Martin. “By combining Arlo’s video verification with RapidSOS’s AI-assisted connection to public safety, first responders get the complete picture—allowing them to react quickly and appropriately to every situation.”
